That’s a song, right?  It’s only at this late date that I have actively sought out sunrises and sunsets, to enjoy of course, but also to photograph.  Because once you start wanting to take pictures it seems as if you must find a spectacular subject for each and every one.  And those early morning or end of day photo ops rarely disappoint.  But there is so much more beauty out there…

Blame it on the dogs…

Because, after all, someone must be to blame.  The dogs aren’t new, and I’d certainly let them out a zillion times before, but one morning we walked out the back door to the most gorgeous sunrise, right outside my back door!  I grabbed my phone to take a picture, and I’ve been seeing life as a photo op ever since.

But wait, what I was seeing in the photo wasn’t quite as intense as what I saw in person.  If not for the availability of photography classes, and editing apps, and a new DSLR, a potentially passing fancy seems to have become a permanent part of my days.  Bringing me much satisfaction, when it’s not driving me crazy of course.  There’s so much to learn…
