I used to look at the beautiful photos that are everywhere online and feel so discouraged. Beautiful photos, taken in gorgeous, exotic, locations. The obvious solution to taking better photos was, I thought, to move, or think I should, or wish it was even an option. It was hopeless, everywhere I looked everything was so ordinary. Then I took a nature photography class, and then another. Photography is mostly a solitary pursuit, so finding myself running around chasing bubbles with five other women was not the stuff of photo ops, or so I thought. But that’s what happened…
And then there was the day we were slogging around in a muddy marsh in search of dragonflies…
I’m rethinking the plan to move, I might miss something…
