Soon I will be all set up here at the campgrounds and I will be itching to get out and see the landscape and take some pictures. Actually my cousin and I took a drive to see some of what’s nearby, and it looks so inviting. Postcard worthy shots all around, if only the sun was out and the sky was blue. We did go shopping this morning and stopped to see a friend of hers, and the view from the friend’s house was fantastic. Not sure now whether we were in VT or NH, we were going back and forth since this campground is right on the Connecticut River, and if we go over the bridge we leave one or the other state behind.
But for now the awning isn’t out and everything is stashed under the camper because there is nothing but rain in the forecast for the next few days. My cousin and his daughter set out hiking this afternoon and I thought they were nuts, but the rain held off so far. But I thought I heard something about large hail tonight. Now that ought to be interesting.
